How can I look for my name on the online confirmation lists?
Across the top of of our website is a row of events: Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, Relay, etc. Click on your event and a drop-down menu will appear. On the drop-down menu will be a heading that says “Registration”. Click on that.
Another menu appears and you will see the word “Confirmation”. Click on that and up will pop the list of confirmed participants, listed alphabetically by last name. There is a "name search" function to help you find your name fast. Just type in either a first or last name and all related names in that event will be displayed.
Please note that the Relay Team confirmation list shows both the name of the team ("Rhonda's Runners" or whatever) and also the names of the team members. If you did not yet give your team a name, please do so, as otherwise only the team member names will be displayed.

I’m looking at my event’s confirmation list and I only see a city and a province/state, but no name. What’s the deal with that?
Actually, the cities with no names that are on the confirmation list are people who have clicked on the "don't show my name on the confirmation list" button on the registration form. We give people the option of having their name show up on the list or not. Sometimes people would prefer to keep their names off a public list, and we respect their need to have that option. So, it just shows up as a city and a province, but no name.
If a participant is on the confirmed list, he or she is 100% confirmed, even if the name is hidden from view.
I registered and received my official registration confirmation, but I can’t see my name on my event’s “confirmed” list. What happened?
First, please enter only the first few letters of your name in the “search” window. If there is a misspelling in the database (for example Carslon, instead of Carlson), your name will not pull up. Try entering “Car” for a better result. If there is a spelling error, please email us ASAP at runqcm@hotmail.com and let us know so we can make the correction. Just another good reason to register online – then YOU can make sure your name is spelled correctly.
If you see a space on the alphabetical confirmation list where your name should be, but there is nothing but a blank space and your city, then chances are you may not have indicated (either on the paper registration form or on the online form) that you wanted your name to appear on the confirmation list.
If you think you should be on the confirmed list but cannot see your name, just type your name into the “search name” window at the top of the confirmation list page. If the computer comes up with a blank name spot, along with your city and province/state, you are on the list, but your name is just currently not visible.
Now, if your name actually is “Just Currentlynotvisible”, well, you have bigger problems. Can I call you "Just?" Or do you prefer "Mister Currentlynotvisible?"
If your name is not visible, and you wish to have it visible on the confirmation list, please send us an email ASAP at runqcm@hotmail.com and give us your name, event and the request to make your name visible on the confirmation list. We will make the update for you.
When you first register using the online registration system, you will come to a part on the registration form where you are asked if you wish to have your name appear (or not appear) on the online confirmation list. Please click on the choice that is appropriate for you. A blank space will appear on the confirmation list where your name should be.
If you register using a mail-in paper registration form, please indicate on the form if you want your name to be included on the confirmation list. If you do not indicate one way or the other, our data entry volunteers will assume that you DO want your name to appear.
If you inadvertently chose to have your name appear on the list, and now would prefer for your name NOT to be shown, please email us ASAP at runqcm@hotmail.com and give us your name, event and the request to remove your name from the confirmation list. We will make the update for you.

First of all, don’t panic. The chances are very good that, even if you have not received a confirmation email, you are still registered.
Log onto www.runqcm.com and check the online confirmation list for your event. If you see your name on your event’s confirmation list, no worries! You’re registered, even if you did not receive an email confirmation.

If you see a space on the alphabetical confirmation list where your name should be, but there is nothing but a blank space and your city, then chances are you did not indicate (either on the paper registration form or on the online form) that you wanted your name to appear on the confirmation list.
The major cause of people not receiving a confirmation email is, strangely enough, people not including their email address on their paper registration forms – another good reason to register online, since you must give your email address to register online and that means you will always get your confirmation email.
The second major cause of not receiving a confirmation email is a simple typo in your email address. Perhaps it was a small error made when you registered online, or it could have been an error made by our volunteers when manually entering a paper registration into our registration database. We're human; it happens.
If you have registered using the paper registration form, another cause for not yet receiving a confirmation email is that your entry has just not yet been manually entered into our database.
Send us an email ASAP at runqcm@hotmail.com or leave us a message at 5-THE-QCM (584-3726) or 1-866-2-RUN-QCM (1-866-278-6726) and give us your name, event and the problem (i.e. did not receive an email confirmation, wanting your name on confirmation list, etc.) and we’ll check our database and make the update.
NOTE FOR LAST-MINUTE REGISTRANTS: If you registered very close to race day and aren’t sure if your registration info is going to make it into the database before the start of race package pickup, please bring your photo ID and proof of payment if possible (such as the cancelled cheque or the credit card printout from your online banking system) to package pickup. If you can let us know about this prior to race package pickup, we can look into this in advance of your arrival at race package pickup.
