Bring the Bling! Wear all your previous medals to the Pasta Party!
If you have done a previous SaskCentral QCM - or any other race anywhere - we encourage you to wear ALL your finisher medals at the pasta party! This is a perfect opportunity for you dig those old medals out of the bottom of your underwear drawer, blow the dust off them (the medals, not your underwear) and proudly show off all your hard-earned hardware! And it's great inspiration for our first-time participants, too.
Where and when does the pasta party take place? How do I get there?
Hosted by the Conexus Arts Centre, the pasta party a relaxed, casual event held on the Saturday prior to race day from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at the Conexus Arts Centre, 200 Lakeshore Drive. This is also the same building where Race Package Pickup is held.
This is a great way to share some pre-race camaraderie (and good pasta!) with your fellow SaskCentral QCM participants.

To get to the Conexus Arts Centre from a central downtown hotel:
I forgot to buy my pasta party ticket when I registered. Can I get some at package pickup or at the door?
If you did not pre-order your pasta party tickets when you registered, any remaining tickets will be on sale at race package pickup (while supplies last), as well as at the door. We encourage you to get your tickets when you register as we cannot guarantee that there will be tickets left for sale at race package pickup or at the door. Tickets are $15.00 per person.
Are children free at the pasta party?
Yes, we give one to every person who comes through the door. (Oh, we never get tired of that bad joke.) Children 5 years of age and younger are allowed into the pasta party at no charge. Any child 6 and over must have a ticket to enter.
What is the Conexus Arts Centre serving at the pasta party? Is there a vegetarian option?
We’re currently meeting with the award-winning Conexus Arts Centre chefs to plan this year's buffet menu and you can be sure that there will be several different delicious pasta and salad options available, including a vegetarian option. There will also be mouth-watering deserts (chocolate is a carb, right?), tea, coffee, juices and soft drinks.

Is alcohol served at the pasta party?
In keeping with the healthy, family-friendly nature of this event, alcohol is not served. However, if you really feel the need for a night-before-the-race libation, email us at runqcm@hotmail.com and ask us for the names of a few good local brew-pubs. Heck, you may even find the entire race committee in one of those brew-pubs late Saturday night, trying to remember if they have any important appointments scheduled for the next morning. Hee hee.
